Working to Improve Rockford

VNA serves the patients in and around Rockford, including those in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. We believe in not only providing the best home care to those patients, but also helping make our community a better place. Throughout the year, our staff participates in fundraisers, health fairs and other events benefiting Rockford Health System and other local organizations.

We’re proud to support local events like:

  • The Battle of the Bartenders VNA Fundraiser: An eventful evening involving music, dancing and bartending where guest bartenders preform crazy challenges to battle for tips to benefit VNA Hospice and Adult Protective Services.
  • The Chocoholic Frolic: Chocolatiers provide the perfect mix of sweets and different branches philanthropy to benefit the Arc of Winnebago, Boone and Ogle Counties.
  • Rockford March of Dimes: A Team from VNA’s Home Medical Equipment walked to support premature babies and their families on Sunday, May 3, 2015.
  • Rockford Health System’s Trunk or Treat: VNA volunteers help hand out Halloween candy in a controlled environment where parents can know their children are safe.
  • Illinois Highway Department Road Cleanups: Our staff cleans up trash along local roads to ensure waste is properly disposed of and materials don’t hurt the environment.
